Preparation of Layered Inorganic/Luminous Dyes Nano-Hybrid Materials with Higher Luminescence and its Luminous Response for Environmental Variation

Abstract

In this review, author indicates that hybridization of luminous dye molecules with ion-exchangeable layered inorganic compounds in the presence of surfactant molecules is one of very effective methods for preparing solid materials with highly luminescence ability. Moreover, author introduces that the present hybrid systems exhibited characteristic luminous response caused by adsorption of molecules such as water and ammonia to hybrid system.
