Abstract
Toughness, Bulkdensity, Particle Shape, and Silicon Carbide Content were measured for Silicon Carbide Abrasive Grain (Particle Grade: #16, #30, #60 and #150).
The relationship of their measured characters were statisticaly studied.
The following results were obtained.
1) There were high correlation between Toughness and Bulkdensity, so that Toughness could be estimated from Bulkdensity.
2) Bulkdensity had additional property on same particle grade.
3) There were high correlation between Bulkdensity and Particle Shape.
4) Effect of Siliconcarbide Content (95-99%) could not be found.
