Abstract
A detailed survey has been presented for Mie angular light-scattering equipment that can be used in measuring the size of fine particles suspended in a gas or a liquid stream. Also described are the formulae for computing Mie light scattering intensities.
New opto-electronic devices such as integrated photo-diode array appear to be providing powerful tools in rapid and precision measurement of angular light-scattering pattern.
