The complicate mechanism of particle coating by high-speed gas impact is experimentally analyzed on fine particle transfer but only between coarse particles.
As a result, the transfer probability of a fine particle decreases with increasing pretreatment or processing time due to its sinking and fixation effects on the coarse particle surface on impact. A smaller fine-particle is associated with a higher rate of sinking due to its higher impact pressure.
