This paper summarizes the results of a study on how mobile phones and smartphones are used among high school students in Japan, and have what are their impacts on human relations. It is estimated that the use of mobile phones and smartphones exerts major effect of interpersonal relationship among them, and the following results was reached that use of it differs from by region and generation.
