Analysis of Self-Development Effects for University Students Brought about by Internet Usage for the Purpose of Self-Development

Abstract

Our precedent study has been made on comparative study of the self-development effect by enlightening internet usage and reading of good books. This study newly added the information gathering about a life and gratitude to the study, and re-verified the effect by enlightening internet usage and reading of good books. It was investigated and analyzed by the structural equation model based on questionnaire surveys of university students in the information sciences. As a result, an analysis result that was similar to the precedent study was obtained. Moreover, it was suggested that gratitude may reinforce the effect.
