The computer came to have big meaning and influence as the social infrastructure of information society, and it is necessary today to wear information literacy as a member of society. It is said that information education in university is important, but is hard to say to be suited to education for this era when we look the current state. In this thesis, I grasp the transition of information education and the problem of the general information education in university, and consider what is necessary to information education in universities today. Therefore, based on precedent studies and experiences in the corporate world, we consider viewpoints required for information education in universities today mainly with focus on Socio-Informatics and clarify new information literacy concept.
