A study on similar municipalities in consideration of regional characteristics such as risk of natural disasters

Abstract

This study is concerned with a method of extracting similar cities, towns, and villages in consideration of regional characteristics and visualization. Municipalities that have similar regional characteristics such as disaster risk, natural characteristics, and social characteristics are likely to have the same required disaster prevention measures, and it is considered that mutual efforts can be utilized. In this presentation, we will select the index for extracting similar cities, and visualize and relativize similar cities based on the index. After that, we will present the validity and evaluation of the method of extracting similar municipalities based on the 6 indicators.
