This report clarifies in which fields and domains people show positive/negative attitudes toward the use of personal data, in cases where personal data is used to realize a better society through AI-based prediction. The results of the survey showed that, in relative terms, predictions of accidents and illnesses were legitimized, but predictions of the reliability of speech and behaviour were not. However, we also found that some respondents did not make such distinctions. It remains to be seen in which people and in which contexts they are more (or less) likely to make such distinctions.
