As a summary of this paper, the main users of learning applications in smartphone applications (Google Play) were characterized by the use of SNS and news applications, while the use of game applications was not so common. The above results indicate that we are in the transitional period to a digital native generation, and that there are situations in which ICT can be used effectively and situations in which ICT cannot be used effectively, with some students utilizing ICT and others being analog users in their studies at elementary, junior high, and senior high schools. It is assumed that ICT education will be used in combination with conventional educational methods, while keeping an eye on the characteristics of ICT education.
