The Chinese Central Government released the Digital Village strategy in 2019. The government prioritized the "Digital Villages" strategy into the No.1 central document in 2022. The digitization and modernization of rural areas in China is accelerating. This paper summarises the relevant policy background and forecasts digitization in rural areas in China.
