This paper provides an overview of school guidance on Internet dependence in Japan based on a survey of teachers we conducted in 2024. We will clarify the extent to which preventive education on Internet dependence is provided in schools and the extent to which teachers teach students with Internet dependence tendencies. This will give us an idea of what kind of research or measures are needed to deal with this problem.
