A study on Open Data initiatives in prefectures

Abstract

A certain period has passed since the operation of open data sites in all prefectures nationwide began. However, the current situation is that examining the actual state of open data publication nationwide does not necessarily lead to continuous data publication. The author also conducted a survey targeting all prefectures nationwide in 2018, when the obligation to disclose data was imposed. This study aims to understand the actual state of prefectures' open data initiatives as of 2023.
