Abstract
This paper investigated main steam pressure control of thermal power plant by a proposed method of separate compensation which consisted of nonlinear statics compensation and linear dynamics compensation. The nonlinear static characteristics were represented by input and output data set of stationary characteristics and the linear dynamics were expressed by ARX model. The effectiveness of the proposed method was assured by comparing a conventional control strategy based on numerical simulation studies of MMS(Modular Modeling System).
