This paper presents some simulations of artificial honey bees which are blind and obey almost the simplest rules.

Natural honey bees act as if they have a kind of intelligence. Especially Japanese honey bees can kill hornets when they are in a group, though they are surely killed by hornets if they fight individually. But they do not have any intelligence and they only instinctively and almost individually react to stimuli. And the instincts are the results of the evolution. So it is important to assume the rules of the instincts and test them by simulations.

Therefore we think it is useful to create a group of bee-type robots and use them as a fire prevention system etc. But before that, we did simulations to investigate their least possibility.
