This paper presents a load balancing routing protocol β-OMP with Bayesian learning scheme. Load balancing protocols are important to optimize property for traffic engineering and they can utilize Internet resources effectively. However not so many of load balancing routing protocols are available to the Internet. Optimized Multipath(OMP) is one of load balancing routing protocols, which is considered to be most applicable for the Internet, although it has slow convergence property and may cause congestion of particular links due to its probabilistic traffic regulation manner. Hence we propose the β-OMP, which is introduced Bayesian learning scheme to the OMP and show its efficiency through several simulation results under some traffic models.
