Abstract
The electron spectra for the single crystalline Al and Cu are measured using the CMA analyzer in order to explain the fine structure of the energy distribution of the secondary electron from the solids. The fine structure of the secondary electron of Al as the NFE metal does not depend on the crystal orientation, because the plasmon contributes to the fine structure. The fine structure for Cu depends on the crystal orientation. It strongly suggests that the emission of the secondary electron for Cu results from the electron excited the unoccupied state after the inter band transition.
