Abstract: A rare case of diverticulum-like lesion in buccal mucosa was presented in this report. A-46-year old man visited our clinic with complaint of food impaction in the right buccal mucosa. A deep groove, with smooth surface was observed in the center of buccal region. The tip of the first finger was able to be inserted in this lesion. At first, it was diagnosed as a small pouch and extirpated under local anesthesia. A partial defect of buccinator muscle was found under the pouch. This lesion was therefore, finally diagnosed as adiverticulum-like lesion. Post-operative course of this patient was not eventful.
