This study is to present a case report treated with sandwich bone graft and osseintegrated implant for occlusal reconstruction of a severely atrophied mandible. Post-operative marginal resorption of bone was observed less and fixtures integrated strongly. The obtained clinical results were satisfactory for masticatory function.
From these findings this procedure was a reliable and useful method for the occlusal reconstruction of severely atrophied mandible.
