Case Report: We report herein on the case of a 91 years old woman with a swallowed denture impacted in the pharynx. She presented with progressive dysphagia and mild fever a little later. Five days after the event, the doctor discovered there was a foreign body in the pharynx. Immediately, the impacted denture was removed. The reasons why such an accident happened and the measures taken are discussed.
