In rigid connection of the steel-concrete hybrid rigid frame bridge, to improve the integrity between the steel girder and RC pier, the main rebars in the RC pier pass through the bottom flange of the steel girder. Some researches on such rigid connection with rebars are conducted by experiment and numerical analysis employing the reduced scale structures. However, there is little research which focuses on the structural behavior of the element test of the rigid connection with the steel plate and rebar. In this research, a numerical analysis program is developed to simulate the behavior of axially loaded tension tests and beam tests which are investigated experimentally in the past. The numerical analysis results are also compared with experimental results and the structural behavior of the element test is investigated in detail.
