The rigid connection parts of hybrid rigid frame bridge play the role of transmitting the load of girder to the bridge pier. The steel frame structure of the rigid connection parts is composed of steel frame, stud, concrete, and deformed flange H-shape. Therefore, the resistance mechanism to the sectional force is complex. In this study, the structural performance of the rigid connection parts is clarified by the examination of the transmission mechanism of the stress resultants and the execution of the cyclic loading test. As a result, the design method in these parts is established.
