Study for deformation performance of RC bridge pier using high-strength rebars and high performance cement

Abstract
The authors executed cyclic loading test to investigate the deformation capacity of RC column by using high strength reinforcement (SD490) and high ductility cement. Comparing these types of RC column containing PVA fiber with 0Vol.%, 2.0Vol.%, 3.0Vol.%, case with 2.0Vol.% has much better deformation capacity than 0Vol.%. But regarding to their deformation performance, there are not so much difference whether using high ductility cement containing PVA fiber with 2.0Vol.% or 3.0Vol.%, because when they contains more fiber, there will be more air volume, which leads to decrease of stress.
