In this paper, in order to clarify the behavior of a non-composite girder including the behavior of headed studs employed as a shear connector, the static load carrying test of the non-composite beam with the headed studs was conducted. The static load carrying test of a composite beam with sufficient arrangement of headed studs was also conducted and both results were compared each other in detail. Furthermore, the push-out test was conducted employing the same proportion of the headed stud and beam section. As a result, it can be seen that the behavior of the headed stud in the non-composite beam as well as the one in the composite beam corresponds to the behavior of the headed stud in the push-out test.
