抄録

Natural disasters such as earthquake, tsunami, typhoon, landslide occur in Japan almost every year. It is necessary to protect people's lives and property from these disasters by the government measures. To make resilience of this country strong is enforced since Great East Japan earthquake 2011. In the policy of resilience, there is rapid restoration from disaster. An emergency bridge can play an important role in restoring damaged area. Under the condition of disaster, it is required that the bridge is constructed easily and in short time. And also the bridge must be light and simple. As the materials of this emergency bridge, FRP, aluminum and timber are taken here. Potentiality of these materials for the emergency bridge is discussed.
