In the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, it is said that small oil tanks installed at fishing ports were drifted by the tsunami, causing fires to the towns. In this study, we proposed two tsunami countermeasure and verified their performance using FEM analysis. In addition, a tsunami experiment was conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the tsunami countermeasure and the validity of the analysis.
