抄録

This paper describes the results of a study on a model that can be applied in actual design to evaluate the response behavior of the entire steel girder bridge, including lateral bracings and sway bracings. A space frame model based on beam elements such as floor slabs, girders, bracings is presented, and comparison with a horizontal loading test on the actual bridge shows the response of bracings can be evaluated with good accuracy. In addition, the presented model demonstrates the possibility of simplified and more rational design that takes three-dimensional behavior into account, in contrast to conventional design.
