Abstract
With the increase of body lexlgth of the fish, rather clearly keeps pace the weight of the liver but not so remarkably the concentration of vitamin A. Hand in hand with the increase of body length, the augmentation of the liver oil content occurs, although it was not definitely found in Oncorhynchus gorbuscha which is poor in the oil content. No relation was found to exist between the weight of the liver and the liver oil content. HIGASI'S, and SCHMIDT-NIELSEN'S formula appears to fit the relation between the the liver oil and vitamin A contents.
