Mucilagenous substances of 8 kinds of green-algae (Ulva, Monostroma, Enteromorpha. Codium) were respectively separated. Some chemical constituents and physical properties of them were studied. From the results obtained, it was fount that mucilagenous substances of the green-algae have excellent qualitios as adhesives.
