In this article the author discusses the continuative form of the Oga subdialect of the Akita Dialect, with special reference to its prosodic behavior. The author's goal is a discriptive sketch of the dialect in its own image, not a simple analogy to the traditional grammatical frame of the Classical/Modern Written Japanese
