Abstract
In this investigation we have surveyed the level of salt field and cleared as follow:
1. The salt field “Kohama” is located at a particurally low level, at -0.7mY. P., and declines slowly frome south to north.
2. The level of sea water inlet canal is higher slightly than that of water canal in the salt field, especially in the south part of the salt fled this difference of level is detected clearly.
From the measurements of water level of ground water and canal at a definite interval we have clarified the correlation of water level between ground water and canal.
As to the physical properties of the soils of salt field, we determined the size of particles and their permeability.
