Bittern and magnesium chloride solution were electrolysed under the various conditions; solution temparature, concentration, voltage, current density, current concentration, depth of electrodes, and distance between electrodes, according to the method (1939) of M. Ishibashi, one of the authers. Hypochorite and chlorate concentration, the amount and composition of precipitates were measured.
