抄録

The report aims the development of photochemical smog model to be useful for the real time prediction of the concentrations of HC, NOX, and 03 in the field. For such a purpose, the compacted model, which is convenient to calculation and gives the prediction with the sufficient accuracy, is best.
In this report, the new approach for the construction of the compacted model is proposed. The method consists of the next procedures.
(1) Block diagram expression of a reaction
(2) Graph expression of the reactions system
(3) Loop analysis of the graph
(4) Trial and error computer simulation to know the most important structure of the phenomena or models, based on the information obtained by loop analysis
A photochemical smog model must have the important two kinds of loop structures. Those are positive loop and negative loop containing NOX conc. as the loop's constituent. When only such two loops are contained, photochemical smog models can be made to compact one. The reactions system obtained as a result is shown in Table 3.
