Abstract
A woman in 40s, she was hospitalized with diabetes. She was accidentally pointed out to have many septa in the gallbladder on abdominal US. Abdominal CT showed many cystic structures with strong enhanced septa in the gallbladder. EUS showed septa all over the gallbladder lumen, which was divided into various sizes, but stone nor masse was seen. From image findings, it was diagnosed multiseptate gallbladder and laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed. Histopathologically, the findings that are characteristic of multiseptate gallbladder and adenomyomatosis were revealed and an epithelium did not have the atypical cell. We considered that this case was very rare and presented unique appearance on image findings and it had very difficulty in differentiation with adenomyomatosis.
