Abstract

The Osaki CoolGen Project subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (until FY2015) and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (from FY2016) is a project with the aim of achieving an innovative low-carbon coal-fueled power plant that combines Integrated Coal Gasification Fuel Cell Combined Cycle (IGFC) with CO2 capture. This paper explains outline and progress of the project.
