Abstract
本稿では，宅間（2023）に続いて，ケント州Ripple行政教区Coldblow Farmの地名由来の背景を考察した。今回は，2021年12月26日から2022年３月５日の間に現地の天気予報から得られた気象データを前稿と同一の手法で分析するとともに，データ収集期間中の天気概況についても概説した。その結果Coldblow Farmは，2021年夏とは異なる結果をいくつか伴いながらも，地域の中核都市Canterburyよりも恒常的に強い風，低い気温と体感温度で特徴付けられ，体感温度と気温の落差も大きく，相対的に寒いと感じられる傾向にあることが明らかになった。風向は，両地点とも南・南南西・南西・西南西・西・西北西・北西の７方位の割合が高いが，より寒い風をもたらすと思われる北よりの３方位，すなわち西・西北西・北西の割合は，わずかながらColdblow Farmの方が大きい。これらの結果は前稿の結論にほぼ合致し，気候地名としてのColdblowを提案するに足る根拠となった。
