A watch assembly line using vision system to assemble face, hands, case, and back has been accomplished. The features of this system are as fol1ows: (1) Exchange of assembly parts is very easy by using display of menu, so that this system can be used for assembly of various parts. (2) Not so high speed is required in the processing time of this system because of the parallel running of robot and vision system, so that this system is not expensive.
