We have developed an analogue quartz watch provided with built-in alarm, chronograph, and timer as well as conventional functions of analogue quartz watches. Three independent motors are built in this watch. Hour and minute hands driven by the first motor indicate normal and alarm-set times. Second hand at the center of the watch, and chronograph hour and minute hands are driven by the second motor, and they indicate normal second time, and chronograph second, minute and hour times, respectively. Small second hand driven by the third motor indicates chronograph 2/100 second and timer up to 49 minutes. In this paper, descriptions are made mainly on the structure of the movement and on the system constructed on the basis of fine mechanism combined with micro-electronics.
