The digital display of a combination watch in which an analog and a digital watch are integrated has been furnished with an increasing number of functions, like in the case of digital watches with display of a variety of functions. However, the analog display of most of such watches is used to be only for time display. Under these circumstances, combination watches with multi-hand Cal.C300 and Cal.C310, combination watches equipped with a three-motored multi-hand/multi-functional analog watch, have been developed. The purpose of the current development of such watches and their features are summarized as follows: (1) Introduction of a multi-hand/multi-functional analog watch into a combination watch ・A three-motored multi-hand/multi-functional analog watch have been adopted and hands are made so as to be independently driven by respective motors in order to permit display of a variety of functions in the analog display section. (2) Organic combination of analog and digital display ・The analog and digital display are synchronized completely so that time correction for the digital display will lead to automatic simultaneous time correction of the analog display. ・The touch of button permits exchange of the analog and the digital display that either the analog or the digital display can be selected for desired display, as well as for display of functions. ・Combined display of the same function in the analog and digital display section permits display of new functions. (3) Easy-to-use combination watch ・The details of push-button operation are displayed in the digital display to facilitate switch operation. ・Shift of hands from the digital display section, whenever the need arises, eliminate difficulty in viewing the digital display section due to overlapping hands.
