Abstract
This study was a home visit behavioral intervention for boy with Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) with aggressive behavior. The intervention consisted of safety and differential reinforcement of low rates of responding targeting game use time and the formation of school attendance behavior as an alternative behavior. As a result, game use time decreased, school attendance increased, and aggressive behavior decreased; at the one-year follow-up, game use time and school attendance remained stable, and aggressive behavior remained at the level at the end of the intervention. The effects and challenges of behavioral interventions for IGD with aggressive behavior are discussed.
