We shortened diabetic educational hospitalization from 4 to 3 or 2weeks and compared educational effects and glycemic control among the 3 groups. No significant difference was seen in FPG, HbAlc, or educational effect when patients were discharged. Significance was not accepted in HbAlc one year after discharge, either. Also, the program showed significant effects in education and glycemic control in these patients.
