Freeze-Thawing Behavior of Glucose and Saline Mixture Aqueous Solutions(Papers presented at the 34th Annual Meeting, April 1988, Tokyo)

Abstract

The low-temperature thermal effect of glucose added to saline aqueous solutions was investigated by using differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). We obtained DSC data indicating that these mixed solutions can remain unfrozen during the cooling period and get crystallized by subsequent warming.
