Abstract

The Cellular immortality testing (CIT) was selected as an in vitro test to detect malignant transformed cells, and multicenter validation was performed. In the method HeLa cell was used as a malignant transformed cell, and human mesenchymal stem cell was used as a normal cell. Bulk growth speed was analyzed according to the previous report (Kono et al, Biologicals, 2017). As a result, we have confirmed that contamination of 10-4% HeLa cell could be detected with good reproducibility. Currently, similar examination is carried out with the cells of different properties.
