Musical pavement is new technology developed with an idea; grooving pavement's technology which is used for preventing slip by cutting ditches on roads. Musical pavement enables to make various music from vibration sound between adjusted ditches and tires. It is executed in Hokkaido in 2004 at first. Then it is executed in Wakayama, Gunma, Ooita, and Aichi while attracting medea's attention. It is said that it has restraining effect of vehicle velocity because drivers try to listen to the music by a good tempo. However, it is also said that it may be cause of noise. Therefore this study examine car speed and noise on musical pavement, in addition we carry out questionnaire. As a result, we confirm that it has the restraining effect of vehicle speed and increase of noise is inconsiderable. Average speed of vehicle is change from 59km/h to 57km/h. 85 percentile value of vehicle speed is change from 70km/h to 63km/h.
