In todayʼs Japanese society， the actions of the end of life care increase in nursing home. However， in the area by shortage of resources and manpower of medical care， the action to end of life care is difficult in nursing home. Such local one is Tome city. This article examines factors for inhibiting end of life care in nursing home in such areas. Such factors became clear by the survey (Hearing) for the person concerned community-based nursing home in Tome city. Through this survey, I clarified factors of inhibiting end of life care linked with the situation of local area. It is effective to examine from social context of the local and peculiar circumstances in the relevant area in studying factors for inhibiting end of life care in the local nursing home.
