A Software Servo for VCR Using Disturbance Compensation

Abstract

This paper describes a software servo control for a VCR, including two elements ; i.e., a disturbance compensation method and a frequency generator (FG) error correction method. The Wow-Flutter of the motor was reduced by software programming only, in a microcomputer, with no other electrical parts added.
