A Loop Gain Control Method for the Focus Control System Using a Pair of Relay Lenses

Abstract

A split-type optical head using a pair of relay lenses for the focus control is one of the promising means to realize the fast access time in a magneto-optical recording system. A new method to improve remarkably the performance in the focus control for a head of this type has been developed.
