Discharge Characteristics of Ne+Xe gas in ac Plasma Displays

Abstract

The information on ultraviolet ray emission, especially 1470A, radiated from Xe (1s4), is important for full-color PDPs, because the UV rays are used for excitation of phosphors. In this paper, we investigated the discharge characteristics of Ne+Xe in the case of pulse discharge plasma afterglow.
