Conversion of Mouth Shapes Corresponding to Different Languages

Abstract

This paper describes a novel method to convert mouth shapes in the moving facial images so that they correspond to different languages. This method utilizes two basic techniques. One is the media conversion from text to mouth shapes and speech. The other is the 3-D motion estimation of whole head using the distribution of 2-D motion vectors and 3-D-shape model.
