Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method to conform depth (coordinate in z axis) of feature points in 3-D model for model-based image coding. 3-D motion equations are taken using 2-D motion vectors at each feature point on 3-D model, and then are solved with iterative method. The experimental results using a test sequence show that the proposed method is effective in conforming the depth of feature points in 3-D model.
